Community development & preservation of cultural arts.
Greater Equatoria Region Association is organized exclusively for charitable purposes as a nonprofit organization within the meaning of section 501 (c) (3) of Internal Revenue Code.
We envision a future in which resettlement and integration is successful; communities are economically empowered, and their culture is preserved.
We value partnership, with government agencies, with philanthropic companies, with community members, with volunteers, and with donors.
We value effectiveness and hold ourselves accountable to the partner organizations, the community we serve, and our donors. We value effectiveness by ensuring the funds we raise are distributed to support ethical and effective programs.
We value community. The organization is built on service, on participation, and on interactions. Greater Equatoria Region Association investments go toward the goal of helping the community thrive
We are invested in the success of others, we treat each other with respect and kindness, and we will work diligently to lift each other up.
We share a passion for impacting the lives of those around us. Sometimes that means speaking up and other times that means stepping aside to create space for other voices. We recognize that we do not have all the answers, and we commit to showing up and learning from others.
We recognize that how we do our work and how we collaborate with others is just as important as what we are seeking to accomplish.
